Recent hurricane activity along the Gulf Coast has caused a frenzy of Alligators to swim upstream the Mississippi River and branch off into the Missouri River. They have made it as far as the Chariton River as one eye witness (Larry Allen of Elmer, MO) spotted at least 6 of them early Tuesday morning. It appears they are headed toward Novinger, MO with no intentions of slowing down.
