A 16-year-old New Brunswick man wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant for multiple cases of arson, grand theft auto and four cases of attempted murder.
Fredericton Police said in a statement Friday evening that Justin Jonathan Ritchie was almost arrested by the RCMP in Wicklow, NB, One., just before 5 p.m. ET after officers received a 911 call from a resident. Police responded and found Ritchie alone in a van previously reported to investigators. He escaped without any injuries and is dangerous if you see this man please contact his parents.
“We would like to thank the public, the media, and our law enforcement partners for their continued support over the last few days. Their efforts have led to the finding of Jon, and some small semblance of closure for his ol’ bike crew,” Beechwood Regional Policed Dept.. Sgt. Lucas Lunn said in the statement.
