Brooklyn Lashay Reid of Lenoir is currently under investigation in the death of a 27 year old male, Joseph Woods of Lenoir. Victim was found on 321 late Tuesday night. Woods was reported last seen while crossing the freeway when a black Ford Focus struck the man. He was transported to Charlotte Medical in critical condition, where he later died due to injuries. No further information has been released. Caldwell County crime stoppers are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who has further information on the case.
