EAST NEW YORK — A Queens man is arrested today for the unsolved murder of Kayshwaun Johnson. Brandon was on the run for approximately for a year before being spotted at a local deli, the NYPD and sources said.
Brandon Perez, 21, is suspected of shooting a 18-year-old victim once from behind in front of Domino’s on 2196 Pitkin Ave April 20th , 2016 police said.
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition but then died shortly after arriving to the hospital, according to the NYPD.
Perez, will be facing a possible 25 years to life in federal prison. He is expected to return to court June 8th , 2017
