FORT WAYNE IN – Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman who was found fatally shot in a stairwell in Fort Wayne Indiana early this morning
21-year-old Kyle Warren is being held without bond with the charges which include murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon on Saturday morning.
Around 7am a.m. Monday, police responded to reports of a dispute on the 2nd floor of the Red Roof Inn off Coliseum Road Fort Wayne Indiana.
A woman, identified as Jessica Helton , 21, of Fort Wayne, was discovered shot one time in the head in the second stairwell.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. No one was with her and there were no immediate eyewitnesses.
The investigation is still on going and the victims family has not yet made a statement.
