Huge step as the 9th grader from Beaufort High school gets looked at by many recruits already. Jamaad Rivers showed his stellar shooting at his AAU tournament in Charleston. In his first game he scored 15 points, as he couldn’t be stoped from the threepoint line going 3/3. The next game in the tournament he showed out on his assist skills and grab many Rebounds. Recruiters were amazed and called Jamaad an “All-star” This wasn’t it as he Dorpped over 20 pts in a scrimmage last week Saturday going 5/6 at the threepoint line. Jamaad didn’t realize they he was being watch and said this when speaking to reporter Greg Bland ” I really didn’t think that my play was all that great in the scrimmage, and I think I should get more aggressive and be way more of an impact, but i like being noticed by Coaches of Colleges at such a young age, but I can’t just let this go to my head. I have to keep on working to be greater and not just average.” The young star didn’t think that he was such a great impact but on the court he seems to be a great teammate and an agressive impact. Recruits say he needs to lower up on the trash talk to avoid any technical fouls or suspensions. When asked about how he feels about his trash talking Rivers replied with “I know many players don’t like to be trashed talked, but I think that you should enjoy it and shut your opponents mouth, and Maybe say a couple words back to get in their head. My team could be down by 100 and I still would be talking trash, it’s just all in the game. If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t be playing the sport, cause it’s a trash talking sport.” He surly has a really good attitude and we hope to see him make it big.
