Abington man caught impersonating bartender

In a crazy story that broke last night, police revealed that they have discovered a man, John Anderson, that had been illegally impersonating a bartender for many years in the Roslyn area. The police became suspicious after stopping customers leaving the bars he worked at after they spent several hours, and no one was found to be intoxicated. They decided to do a sting operation on a Saturday night at the local VFW and what they found was simply amazing. Customers were left waiting with their empty glasses and bottles for up to 30 to 40 minutes before being served by this fraud. Instead of refilling drink orders, he would stand around telling story after story to dissatisfied guests who simply couldn’t believe this was happening. Several customers, who chose to remain anonymous, complained that they tolerate this poor service because, there are limited number of bars in the area and due to their loyalty to the owners and operators.
The matter has been taken to the courts and hopefully justice will be served and this fake bartender will get what he deserves. The matter is now before the ninth district and will be heard next week.
