Action film to be made in Etowah.

An action film starring Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham, and Jamie Foxx will begin filming in the Etowah area in late summer. Officials with Columbia, Warner announced yesterday. The details were sketchy at press time,but the plot follows Native American heritage, and moonshine operations. Casting for extras will begin next week.
