Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, has just announced he will be thanking the independent contractors delivering for the “Amazon Flex” program, which some have called the Uber for packages, by giving them a $1,000 bonus on “Prime Day” this coming July.
Prime Day is Amazon’s equivalent to black Friday, offering great deals and promotions that can only be found on Amazon.com or from the Amazon app. This means the drivers will be working extra hard to meet increased demands, and this year they will be generously rewarded for their hard work.
