Avon New York to build State Prison

Located on the east side of River Road or “Rochester” Street will be the new site for a new state penitentiary. Housing over 600 inmates will help Livingston County grow. Bringing in new jobs and more law inforcement agencies.
Ground to be broken sometime around the end of May.
