Black Bear spotted on Trail Cam in Southern Huntington County near Salamonie Reservoir

Images of Black bear shared with local authorities after being captured on local man’s trail cam. Multiple times trash bins were invaded, but after pets were no longer willing to go outside, local resident mounted trail cams around his property. The bear is reportedly female and likely has cubs according to reports. The public is being cautioned to avoid the Salamonie area along with the Wabash River public areas until the bear or bears are caught.
