Boynton Beach female arrested in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A 27, year old woman has been arrested in Fort Lauderdale after being linked to a fraud scheme that targeted the state.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement arrested Julian Kirlew, about 4 am early this morning and is being held on $100,000 bond at the Broward County jail.

Accused of fraudulently using numerous accounts,debit cards, and identity theft.

The FDLE said Kirlew is connected to a couple schemes that may cause her to be sentenced to 15 or more years.

Investigators believe the Kirlew defrauded numerous accounts by reactivating dormant accounts, and changing the PIN and bank account information so she would receive the funds, according to the FDLE.

Kirlew,then filed hundreds of fraudulent transactions and forwarded the funds to 22 identified bank accounts under their control, FDLE said.

The Federal Law enforcement states nearly $490,000 was stolen in the scheme.
