Actor and philanthropist Brad Pitt is ready to move on from Angelina Jolie. The Missouri native says he should have known better than to marry a woman that wasn’t like the “girl next door,” and that he’d rather get back to his roots. The new dating show, “Hollywood’s Next-Chance at Love” will air in July. It will focus on celebrities who have been recently divorced or have broken up from a relationship.
The celebrities featured on the show will have the opportunity to have a “Bachelor-type” experience but all in the course of 24 hours. The celebrity will choose between 20 single women/men and they will also get to determine from which states, professions, and backgrounds the contestants will be from. Pitt has stated that he wants all 20 potential suitors to be from Missouri, where his family still lives in the Southern town of Springfield, and plans to settle down there near his parents farm.
He hopes to find a Missouri “born and bred” woman with or without children, who already lives in or near Springfield, and has a non-celebrity occupation.
