He was found hanging from a bedsheet attached to a window in his room at about 11:05a.m., the state Department of Correction said in a statement. The agency said Richardson had tried to block the door to prevent family from entering.
“Correction Department spokesman Christopher Fallon said there was no suicide note found during the initial search of the room Richardson occupied alone” Fallon said.
