Centre woman wins $20k

A Centre women bought a $1 scratch off at Rhondas shopet on cave springs st. According to the convenient store owner Christy Chesnut a Rome resident came into the store at around 3pm today and simply told the store clerk “Give me a $1 scatch off Pick me a luck one” she jokingly ask fo a winner and boy did it pay off . . . the ticket the clerk chose was a Jr. jumbo buck she scratch and won $10,000. She immediately was taken over with emotion as she cried abd stated this type of thing just dont happen to people like me Ms. Chesnut issued a statement to our reporter saying that she was extreamely happy and could pay off her car she kept thanking Jesus during her interview it was an emotional day for all who was involved.
