Charles City man arrested after high speed chase

Ryan Hutchens ,27, of Charles City was arrested late Friday night after a 130 mile per hour high speed chase on Route 60 in Lanexa.
State Troopers finally apprehended Hutchens when he tried to make a right turn.
In a statement from his lawyer, Hutchens said he was “just shaking it down for the race Saturday May 6th at Virginia Motor Speedway after the last few weeks of rainouts.”
Hutchens is being held on $100,000 bail.
