Chester Mother and Teen arrested on assault charges

Allyson McGinnes, 19, and Shannon Zebley, 45, were arrested Friday on charges of assault, threatening and resisting arrest. Witnesses say that the victim was screaming profanities at the mother and daughter, at the corner of 21st st and Edgemont at approximately 2:15 am. A fight ensued, in which a total of 5 woman were involved in the altercation. The victims, all.residents of Chester, were taken to Crozer Hospital with facial and neck lacerations. Mother and daughter were taken to Delaware County Prison.
