DARD bans semi-auto shotguns

DARD in conjunction with PSNI will be banning the use of semi auto shotguns in Northern Ireland. For this years season only to give ducks on lough neagh a chance as numbers have been falling for years now. Fines up to £5000 if caught using these firearms on all wildfowl throughout the state starting 1st September to January 31st.
