Daughter Of Kingpin Receives Compensation From Lawsuit Filed By Dad

Infamous Tri-State Area Kingpin, Abdul Uthman, wins multi-million dollar suit filed against the state of New Jersey. In 2007, both Uthman, and his estranged wife, were arrested on a false warrant in an attempt find evidence of a drug ring operation. State police raided the couples 2.5 million dollar home only finding paraphernalia and a large amount of money. All property and funds were confiscated as a result of the findings. Charges were dropped after the discovery of a fictitious warrant was argued by the defendants attorney. Uthman was assaulted by police in the process which caused him to file a lawsuit against the state. After a lengthy legal process, Uthman was awarded 7.2 million dollars by a federal judge. Apparently, Uthman was incarcerated at the time of his victory but had appointed his daughter power-of-attorney. Reportedly, Uthman’s daughter from his second marriage received control over his estate as well as money awarded in his victory over the state. Her identity and whereabouts are being withheld for security purposes.
