DENVER POLICE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR BIKERS INVOLVED IN LOCAL STREET RACING ACTIVITY

Denver law enforcement has asked for the public’s help in identifying a group of bikers that have been involved in “reckless behavior” and “dangerous maneuvers” over the past few weeks.

Local authorities have received numerous calls about bikers in large groups causing a scene, racing and partaking in dangerous stunts in and around the Downtown Denver and I-25 areas.

Among the things reported, bikers were said to have “reached triple digits speeds”, “popped wheelies down the highway” and “done burnout demonstrations”.

HOV cameras on I-25 showed one rider in the group riding a wheelie at “well over 80mph”, according to authorities.

Local police have issued a $1000 reward for any information leading to the identification and apprension of any bikers engaged in any reckless behavior or stunt demonstrations in the area.
