Easley Shooting Suspect on the Run

Chief Tim Tollison with the Easley Police Department said officers responded to a call about shots fired earlier this evening.

According to Tollison, a small group of people were standing in a yard when someone shot rounds from a firearm. An altercation reportedly occurred at the location during the incident, but Tollison said a motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.

One person was shot in the chest and transported to the hospital by EMS.

Easley Fire Department dispatchers also said the incident occurred around the Speedy Mart on fleet wood drive and shared that first responders from their department were the first to arrive on the scene.

Chief Tollison said his department is also investigating the possibility of narcotics being involved in the incident. The suspect, Aaron Robinson of Easley reportedly fled the scene of the shooting in a vehicle, and has not yet been located by police.
