It’s been nearly a decade since 13 year old, Melissa Gutierrez, was detained as a suspect for the serial murders of 6 high school victims. She was tried as an adult on August 7, 2010, and was released due to the lack of evidence tying her to the murders, but was later found guilty after an accidental confession to a local pastor. She was put in a high security mental institution after winning the insanity plea, but later escaped in 2011 while a new security guard was on their lunch break. Melissa’s whereabouts are unknown at the movement, but police believe she may be in the Central Florida area.
