Florida State Prison West Unit inmate Justin Steven Meyers wanted after prison escape

At 7am this morning Florida’s Starke Police Department were tipped off to the whereabouts of a known wanted fugitive Justin Steven Meyers, a 22 year old male who has a lengthy criminal background. When police arrived at a house near Starke, Florida, that’s when the fugitive was spotted walking around the back of the house, officer Lt. Jefferson of the Starke Police Department who is over the warrants division advised units of a possible match and to stay alert, as units pulled into the drive way they noticed Justin running through the woods, as officer Lt. Jefferson and several other patrol units began to follow in pursuit there were multiple gun shots fired. All units were advised to stand down and the whole area was immediately surrounded, as of 1:45pm this afternoon the area was cleared off the suspect In question Justin Steven Meyers is was not found.
