San Juan Island, Washington. An unknown woman is being sought for questioning by the San Juan County Sheriff’s department. The ongoing investigation has linked the woman to the disappearance of numerous domestic cats in the Friday Harbor area. It’s believed the woman is the ring leader of a larger Black Market syndicate. The sudden spike in disappearing feline prompted the investigation by law enforcement. Local investigators say they’ve connected the woman to several incidents around the country.
Law enforcement officials say selling cats on the Black Market is a multi billion dollar industry. It’s unknown at this time how many others are involved, but deputies know of at least one male accomplice. The individuals involved are considered armed and dangerous.
