McKala Dempsey, 20, was brought into custody Thursday (April 27th) after a call to Attalla police that she had stabbed her ex husband, Aaron Bradley, 23.
The victim suffered 54 lacerations and was pronounced dead on the scene.
When asked for a statement Dempsey replied, “Bastard had it coming!”
A further investigation is in progress.
Dempsey is being held with No bail and a hearing has not been set.
Memorial information for the victim will be released by family later.
