Cody Beard , 26, of Gettysburg was arrested late Thursday night after a high speed chase on I-95 South Bound. State Troopers finally apprehended Beard when he tried to avoid a spike strip and then proceeded to flip the car where then the officers came up and arrested Beard. No one was hurt in the chase. In a statement from his lawyer, Beard said “I was just trying to get my new motor warmed up.” Beard is being held on $230,000 bail.
