Guyana Next Country To Legalize Gay Marriages End Of 2017

Georgetown, Guyana – Reported by Channel 23 News. As Guyana move forward in the 21st century a lot of changes are in store for Guyanese. There has been reports from the Government of Guyana by the end of 2017, all Guyanese should have the rights to freedom of marriage and sexual orientation. It was a strong and decisive move from the present Government to ensure the freedom to all Guyanese when it comes to marriage.

There are estimated about 85% of Guyanese men will become gay by the year 2020. When Channel 23 news reporter Clyde Hamilton asked the Minister of Public Affairs, Why legalize gay marriages in Guyana? He stated “A lot of gays are afraid. They want be free to walk around, kiss in public or even hold hands”

Guyana will become the first caricom country to legalize gay marriages and the people should be proud. We are making history as a small nation. When People think of Guyana they must think of Gays. Granger – The President will sign the new laws in September of 2017.

There has been a small group petition to stop the signing but the Guyanese government is being pressured by the United States of America to continue with legalizing gay marriages.
