Home Town High School Athletics Hero Still Strugling With Addiction

Long time, Avoca, Iowa resident and local AHSTW Community School District athletic hero, Cole Fischer was found on Tuesday morning, April 25th, unconsious and unresponsive in his home. Around 12:30 A.M., friends Jay C. Heiny, Drew Jones, and Briar Clay stopped by their pals house to catch up as planned earlier that week. When they arrived and found Cole on the ground, they rushed him to the nearest hospital where it was confirmed that he had overdosed on a substance that has held the poor young man by the stomach for years: Nacho Cheese Doritos. Upon further investigation of the property, authorities found 5 empty family sized bags of the wickedly cheesy triangles of death. Cole had consumed them all in an episode that can the local police are calling an attempted suicide by the cheese that is not yours: Nacho Cheese.
“One taste and Cole was lost to us forever” said Jay C. Heiny in an off camera interview.
“I was with him the first time he ‘Cruched Out'” said Briar Clay.
“He hasn’t been the same since”

Friends and family now surround the young Fischer as he fights the addiction that has gripped him for so long. Send prayers to the Harlan, Iowa Hospital ICU.
