Huron County man arrested after high speed chase! More on TV 5

A Huron County man was arrested after a high speed chase that started on Hartsell Rd around 9am. The suspect was driving a race car when the chase took place. The suspect was spotted leaving on Hartsell Rd and the chase ended at the Silver Bullet Speedway which police had to enter on the tracks racing surface to attempt to stop the suspect. After approximately a 25 lap chase took place, the suspect finally stopped in the front stretch at victory lane. The suspect was then apprehended and claimed he just wanted to shake his car down. Suspect is currently lodged in the Huron County jail awaiting arraignment. 😂🏁
