Sunday, April 30th, 2017, JSO is looking for Jasmine Phillips for questioning regarding a murder that happened late Friday night. Police received a call around 10:45pm that there was a lady laying in street who appeared to be hurt according to initial reports. JSO were then dispatched to 2489 Salisbury ave north near Gary street. Upon arrival, the sheriffs department discovered the body of 32 year old Rebecca Johnson. Witnesses say as they were walking home, they noticed a woman driving a grey Buick speeding away from the scene. As they got closer, they realized a body was laying in the street. They quickly called the police and authorities were on the scene. As of now, Phillips is only wanted for questioning.
