Jim Avondolio, of Pennsylvania, has been named co-chairperson of President Donald J. Trump ‘s reelection campaign. Avondolio, a former progressive Democrat and Bernie Sanders recently changed his party affiliation to Republican. When asked why the 180 degree turn, Avondolio had this to say “I was in a chat room with some good buddies of mine when things started getting political. My friend Dave kept calling me “the commie.” This got me so mad that I left the chat room. Then, I got to thinking “my policy positions do line up with those of the Communist Party, maybe I am a commie.” Then when I realized that President Trump got a majority of the votes in my own state, I decided to reevaluate my positions. Today, I am proud to say that I will be leading the charge to help our 45th President Keep America Great Again!
