Keuka Lake Trout Holding Preparedness Meetings

Last year large trout disappeared while dining at various depths of Keuka Lake. The elders of QKA Trout Association have begun posting warning signs at various depths of the lake. The signs include a picture of a human, Nicole Mastin, deemed very dangerous to trout. An unidentified human, also seen in the photo, is an accomplice of Ms. Mastin and must be considered armed (with a net) and dangerous. Warnings have been issued to stay away from shiny objects with dangling worms while Ms. Mastin is on the lake.

The area hit hardest last year was south of Bluff Point. The Southern Chapter of QKA Trout Association are holding weekly meetings and training in ‘fight or flight’ drills. A contingent of wily trout from the Association have been assigned to an undisclosed area near Hammondsport to keep an eye out for anyone fitting the description of Ms. Mastin and her accomplice.
