“Lake Monster” seen in southwest Missouri.

Stockton, MO.
Move over Nessie, here comes “Stocky”. A fisherman from Bolivar Missouri, on a trip to lake Stockton captured an unusual image on his smart phone last week. Dubbed the “Stock-Ness monster” (“Stocky” for short) the image reportedly shows a sinuous serpent approximately 30 ft in length. Biologists at Missouri State university have failed to speculate on what the image might be, but will be traveling to Lake Stockton later this spring in hopes of catching a glimpse of the creature.
This is not the first mysterious creature sighting in the state of Missouri. During the late ’70s a Bigfoot-like creature dubbed “Momo the monster” was sighed at numerous locations within the state.
Local officials have declined to comment on the existence of “Stocky”, except to say that they hope the story brings more people to the lake this summer.
