Larksville man arrested for reckless driving and evading .

Thurs. April 27th approximately 11pm local police received a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of the West side mall. Police swiftly responded only to find 34 yr old Joseph Emel of Larksville, cutting doughnuts in the lowes parking lot. Mr. Emel then fled the scene at a high rate of speed to try and elude police. The officers in pursuit were finally able to apprehend Mr. Emel 30 minutes later at his residence where he had already began eating a sandwich on his front porch he had just made. Mr. Emel asked the officers what took them so long to find him, the officers we thrown off by the question and did not have an answer fast enough before Mr. Emel can add “was it because of all the doughnuts I left for you down at lowes”. Needless to say he is being held at the luzerne county prison on $1000 bail.
