Lavelle Davis of Egg Harbor City, Nj was apprehended by Rowan university police Wednesday at approximately 6:32pm. Davis was seen breaking and entering into a home on unversity boulevard. After Davis entered the house local bystanders began to here screaming and cries for help and alerted glassboro police department. Rowan university were first to respond and as they arrived to the house Davis then tried to flee from the house and run out the back door where he would met by officers. Davis then punched at the officers and knocked one to the ground. Davis was then grabbed and arrested. While searching Davis they found an illegal firearm that had been reported stolen April 3rd in Gloucester county and 13 grams of marijuana. Davis is now in custody and locked in the Gloucester county jail on a $250,000 bail.
