Renowned lawyer and senior council Mr. Burch-smith is being fingered in a multi million dollar fraud scheme in the renovation of a multi complex mall.
The prominent lawyer was fingered in the fraud scheme after his contractors (no name provided) noticed that he was paying out large somes of money to him even though the contract sum was minimal, the contractor said that he begin to noticed when he ask for 5 mil to purchased materials and pay staff that the lawyer would instead give him several milions more, when questioned the lawyer would tell me to hush and keep quite.
Recently the police began to investigate the matter because of the complaints made by the contractor, it is widely circulated that the lawyer is also a known drugs dealer lawyer so the monies is channeled through him. Construction is the only means of washing the dirty money.
I have no comment, was the sentiment express by Mr Burch-smith when questioned by the media, ” I have done nothing wrong”, leave me alone, I’m a boss, these statement didn’t go well with the attorney general Mr basil Williams who on the fraud scheme. It is also been said that Mr. Williams know of the scheme and did try to keep it hush, but was quickly ignited by one Mr. Anil Nandlall.
