Local Book Bar to Become Picture Book Bar

ST. JOSEPH, MO: After much consideration, owners of the local book bar, Tiger’s Den, decided to become more inclusive to the increasing society trend of not reading words.

Brian Myers, Tiger’s Den co-owner, weighed in on the business decision to become a picture-book-only bar.

“Words are becoming a thing of the past. In fact, pictures are worth 1000 words anyway, so we are taking progressive steps to appeal to the wider audience that doesn’t read,” Myers said.

Local bar goers are taking notice.

“Shit, I can’t even write my own name,” Toothless Downtown Sally Brown said. “I can’t wait to drink in the picture book bar and feel comfortable actually being able to finish a book.”

Eventually the picture book bar plans to put in a regulation sized UFC octagon ring and Scarface posters to make the non-readers feel right at home. The owner even invested in new technology breakthrough that allows patrons to find their camo jackets in the coat room.

“Truck balls welcome,” Myers said.
