Local city worker says he’s just happy to be alive

Wesley Hardy, 39, has worked for the city of Muskogee for more than 10 years when he was called out to unclog a 10 inch main line. After evaluating the situation he decided explosives were going to be the best solution. That’s were everything went wrong. A spokesman for the city says it will probably take 2 months to remove the debris from every restroom on the west side of town. Although he was lucky enough to escape with his life, he will likely never get rid of that smell.
