Local man charged with robbery

A local man by the name Michael P. DeStasio 55 2nd ave of Englewoid F.L. has been charged with Robbery without a firearm. And multipal counts of grand theft. DeStasio’s story hit the papers last sunday when his arrest made the police beat in the Sun Herald Tribune along with a long artical including the story of Cassandra L. Schurich, The woman who filed the charges against DeStasio. The first of many woman who have come forward. Schurich who stated she “Feels empty and hollow inside from the whole situation and should have come forward sooner but she felt it was her fault and that DeStasio just had such kind eyes and she should have known better but somthing about him just lurred her to him do easily” Guess you could say DeStasio is a “Smooth criminal” Schurich was outraged when notified of the many other woman who have followed in her footsteps and have since come forward with their storys accusing DeStasio of similar charges and filing complaints against him. We spoke with Shawn Tatarcyk a friend of DeStasio’s who stated “Hes a solid person and a stand up guy but its no surprise Michael is in trouble again that he has had many runin’s with the law in his past” After a little research we dug up some of DeStasio’s past criminal history and unbenounced to us he did 12 years in prison. From the age of 14 he has had several grand theft and burglary charges on his record and now at 30 yrs of age it seems this smooth criminal has yet to learn his lesson. DeStasio is awaiting trial and being held in Sarasota county jail with No bond at this moment. Maybe next time this man eill think before he steals another poor womans heart ❤😂😂😂
