Local MMA star arrested in doctors office after confrontation with staff and police.

Police arrested Robert Salmons a 29 year old Harrington man after they were called to 303 Eskridge HWY in Dover. Dover Police spokesman Col. Gary Miller said after they learned of the situation they called for backup before entering the office. While waiting on additional officers to arrive Salmons exited the building and proceeded towards the officers in a threatening manner. Police deployed pepper spray and a department issues taser. After an extended struggle involving multiple units they were able to bring Mr.Salmons under control. Several officers as as Salmons were taken to the ER department at Dover hospital for non- life threatening injuries. Salmons charges are not listed at this time. He was released after posting $18,000 bail.
