Local Jacksonville resident identified as Tamika Moorer, 44, is currently being held on the charges of second degree murder of Theresa McGuiley, 41, a resident of the 1500 block of West fourth St., an apartment building which both victim and suspect resided.
Witnesses reported a loud disturbance at approximately 2:00 am and there have been reports of at least four instances which resembled shots fired inside the third floor apartment of the victim. Local authorities have provided a picture LIC statement:
” We are pleased to have an immediate reaction to the scene of the crime, which allowed us to apprehend the suspect without resistance and little incident….
