Local woman saves child from death

Alpharetta, GA resident Bridgette Ragsdale says she felt an out of body experience when she lifted a Toyota Prius off a child who was struck by the vehicle. “I saw it all in slow motion, I tried to alert the driver to stop but he didn’t see or hear me”. Ragsdale, a mother herself, did the only thing she could think to do – she tried to lift the Prius off the trapped child and succeeded. Specialists have explained this rare phenomenon as a surge of adrenaline that rushes through your body enabling you to do extraordinary acts. The victim, whose identity is not yet being released, was taken to Northside Hospital for evaluations but thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Ragsdale, will go home to his family.
