Luzerne county resident, Jennifer Kithcart was cited on 4/26/2017 for Tampering w/ fire apparatus/hydrants
Ms. Kithcart took it upon her self to turn the fire hydrant on located on Murphy street, Forty Fort PA. Ms. Kithcart flooded the roadways causing water seepage into local residents homes and road closure for approximately 2 hours.
During an interview with Ms. Kithcart, she stated that she did not mean to cause the damage that occurred and that she was only trying to fill up a baby pool used for her pet rabbit.
