Male suspect who has been identified as 23 year old Francisco Javier Sandoval is wanted for allegedly assaulting OPD officer after traffic stop Friday around 4pm while traveling south on the 2500 block of Crane street.
Witness states that while OPD officer who has yet to be identified was returning to Sandovals window Sandoval stepped out of his vehicle and began approaching Officer.
It is uncertain what caused Sandoval to act out and punch the officer in the face causing him to fall. Sandoval was then seen return to his vehicle and was heard shouting “F!#$ the police” before fleeing west bound.
