Man caught with stolen forklift at automatic car wash

Pontoon Beach police received a call through the 911 system earlier today stating a man drove through an automatic car wash on a forklift wearing a safety vest and safety glasses. The man (pictured) apparently stole the forklift from his former place of employment, a warehouse nearby. The subject stated he might have made it but the forklift used most of it’s propane going down the highway and ran out shortly after exiting the car wash. Police are currently holding the man in custody until they can quit laughing and decide what to charge him with.
