Mckean fears bazooka slinging Wild Bill Nasio

Australia’s heavyweight division has long been devoid of a heavyweight prospect who could potentially shake up the world of boxing. In recent years we have Lucas “Big Daddy” Browne, “Wild Bill” Will Nasio, and now a relatively new comer to the scene in Dempsey McKean.

Dempsey has had a busy two and a half years racking up an impressive 10-0(4KO) professional boxing record with notable wins over Tai Tuivasa, a knockout of Anthony Fowler and back to back wins against Hunter Sam.

Wild Bill has been equally, if not more impressive than Maclean. Fighting 12 times for 10 wins with 8 jaw dropping KO finishes.
Nasio has shared the ring with the likes of Tai Tuivasa, Hunter Sam, Joel Clifton and Clarence Tillman.

Both these men’s past performances have earned them the label of being Australia’s next heavyweight prospect and a match up that makes a boxing fans mouth water. Often we don’t get to see two local standouts face off, instead they venture outwards to other countries to try and make their name, but luckily this fight has been in the pipeline for a while.

Leading up to their fight date there was a lot of talk from the Mckean camp and his large group of supporters towards the Nasio team via social media. McKean is confident he is too skilled and well-equiped to lose to Nasio. Unfortunately due to injuries in the Nasio camp the fight has been postponed twice, leading to Mckean successfully lobbying for an Interim title in the wake. Dempsey captured the interim title via a stoppage win over Hunter Sam. This win leads to an anticipated unification match in May 2017. Weeks before it was time to step up and face the music Maclean has been producing over the last few months it seems Dempsey has had to withdraw from the fight due to unforeseen circumstances. The cause of this retraction is currently unknown, but could this be another case of a prospect protecting the coveted “0”? With dynamite in both hands Wild Bill is a dangerous fight for Mckean, who hasn’t faced anyone with the stopping power Nasio possesses. The fight game is a strange place with all kinds of personal make up, some people are better at making noise, rather than ripples.

Regardless If this fight happens, it lines up to be an impressive showing of Australia’s boxing talent.

Mout.
