Merritt Island 21 Year Old Male ARRESTED

Friday night Dennis Elkins, 21, of Merritt Island, was driving home and ran 3 Red Lights in persuit to get away from Cocoa PD. The high speed chase lasted 30 minutes until the Suspect crashed his ’95 Buick skylark sport into a tree. The chase didn’t stop there, the suspect ran through 5 backyards, entering 2 homes, and held 56 Year Old Male, John Jeffers, at gunpoint, Screaming and I quote “We Don’t Love These Hoes” The suspect was then taxed and taken down by 4 PD K-9s. The suspect in my opening is a G. No getting away from that.
