Minto RCMP Detachment issued a Canada-wide search on a local Minto man for suspected armed-robbery.
Steve Bishop of Minto, New Brunswick, RCMP issued a Canada-wide search after a 911 call from a local bank and convenience store reported an armed robbery occurring on Thursday, April 27th at approximately 5:46pm.
Reports and wistnesses say he was upset that the price of cigarettes went up and was reported saying, “might as well just rob the place, Government is robbing me”.
He is now on the run and police say he is armed and extremely cranky and to use caution.
Any tips or information on his whereabouts, concerned citizens are urged to call your local Law Enforcement agency immediately, or just give him a Double Double from Tim Hortans.
