Miramichi police issued a Canada-wide warrant for a boy wanted for a murder in Miramichi, NB.
Officers responded to reports of a fight in which two boys were attacked with an edged weapon on Thursday afternoon around 1:30 .
One boy suffered non-life threatening injuries while the other boy later died in hospital in Miramichi.
A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 13 year old boy named Elijah Jardine for the following criminal offences:
-Second Degree Murder
-Assault with a Weapon
-Assault Causing Bodily Harm
Elijah is described as:
Indigenous male, 13 years of age
5’0” tall
blonde hair
Blue eyes
Police warn members of the public not to approach Elijah, instead to call 911 or their local police service.
