New Spider Discovered in Northern Michigan

Sources confirmed that a new type of eight legged insect specie has been found in multiple counties in northern Michigan. DNR spokesperson had little to say about the discovery except that they are looking into what spider specie family it belongs to and where it originated from. Spiders captured are being sent to MSU to be observed and tested. State agencies will be coordinating with the Center for Disease Control to monitor the safety of this spider. As of now, there have been no reports of any dangerous spider bites or any sickness from exposure to the foreign spider. Stayed tuned for updates as they are released.
